ioulios georgiou

about

Ioulios Georgiou operates as an architecture and construction systems practice across design, fabrication, and advanced building technologies.

The work combines architectural design with expertise in construction systems, enabling projects to be developed with a clear integration between form, material, and buildability.

Architecture projects are developed across residential and design-led contexts, while Systems engages with advanced construction technologies, particularly concrete 3D printing, bridging computational design with fabrication and construction workflows.

The practice is further supported by ongoing research, prototyping, and academic engagement.

About Ioulios Georgiou

Ioulios Georgiou is an architect working with computational design and emerging construction technologies.

He studied architecture at TU Berlin and worked professionally in Berlin for four years, contributing to the planning and coordination of high-profile international projects at KEC Architekten. In 2020, he completed a Master of Advanced Studies at ETH Zurich, specialising in digital design and robotic fabrication in architecture.

Since 2021, he has been involved in large-scale concrete 3D printing projects as a computational architect and project manager, working across design development, construction workflows, and fabrication processes.

In parallel, he established his architectural practice in Limassol, Cyprus, developing projects through the integration of design, material systems, and construction logic, from concept through to technical resolution.

Alongside practice, he is engaged in teaching and academic activities at the University of Nicosia, contributing to both architectural education and digital innovation programmes through lectures, workshops, and reviews.

He is a registered architect with the Architektenkammer Berlin and the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), and an Authorized Rhino3D Trainer (ART) certified by McNeel.
